Arduino Different Basic Circuits Ohms Law

Finished the circuit in the first lesson. Now, moving on to the series and parallel circuits

Series circuit

• Components come one after the other
• In the one we build, both buttons need to be pressed to power the LED

Parallel circuit

• Components in parallel run side by side
• In the one we build, either button will power the LED

Pretty cool. Basically and/or for the LED.

Ohm’s law circle Really just remember VIR

• v = i * r, voltage = current * resistance

Values will be in the milliamp range, thousandths of one amp

Multimeter

• Not necessary for these projects, but helpful to measure VIR
